Obituary of Barbara A. McGrath

Barbara A. McGrath, 84, of Toms River, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Harry and Susan Saunders and raised in Newark, NJ. Barbara graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School. She was a member of St. Maximillian Church in Toms River for many years. Barbara is predeceased by her loving husband, Peter Vincent McGrath, and her parents, Harry and Susan Saunders. She is survived by her daughters, Jean Scarfo, and Kathleen Gilbert; son, Timothy McGrath; brother, William Saunders; grandsons, Cliff Ramsay and his wife Maria, Christopher Ramsay, and Travis Gilbert; granddaughters, Samantha Kitchen and her husband Justin, and Jessica Gilbert; great-grandchildren, Penny, Charlie, Jamie, Baine, and Myles, and niece, Lorey Attanasio. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 11 – 1 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
