Obituary of Joseph A Lesko

Joseph A. Lesko, 60 of Brick passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. He worked as a project manager and supervisor for several residential builders before starting his own business, Lesko Home Improvements, several years ago. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam War. Joseph enjoyed the outdoors and loved to take long rides on his Harley with his wife. Born at Camp Kilmer, NJ, he grew up in Old Bridge and lived in Englishtown before moving to Brick in 1998. He is survived by his wife Karen Karnowski Lesko; his children, Jodi Lesko, Niki Skalla, Joseph W. Lesko, William Lesko; step children, George and Melanie Francis; five grandchildren, Leeann, Ariana, Jacob, Mckenzie, Hanna; his mother, Mary Lesko; sister, Karen Crawford; and brother Thomas Lesko. A memorial gathering will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Saturday, February 9, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be offered at 1:30pm followed by Military Honors.
