Alfred Latour, Jr., 60 of Toms River , passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 18 at Jersey Shore Medical Center , Neptune . Alfred worked for H&R Block of Toms River as a Tax Accountant for the past 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph ’s Catholic Church of Toms River. He coached basketball for the Brick Leagues and for St. Dominick’s Leagues. He was also a basketball referee through out Ocean County . Born and raised in Jersey City , he lived in Brick before moving to Toms River in 2006. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen Gallagher Latour in September, 2007 and by his brother John Latour. Surviving are: Son: Brian of Toms River Daughter: Jessica Latour of New York Sister: JoAnn Peterson of Eatontown Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:00 am Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Entombment will follow at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery.
