Alfred Latour, Jr., 60 of Toms River , passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 18 at Jersey Shore Medical Center , Neptune .
Alfred worked for H&R Block of Toms River as a Tax Accountant for the past 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph ’s Catholic Church of Toms River. He coached basketball for the Brick Leagues and for St. Dominick’s Leagues. He was also a basketball referee through out Ocean County . Born and raised in Jersey City , he lived in Brick before moving to Toms River in 2006.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen Gallagher Latour in September, 2007 and by his brother John Latour.

Daughter: Jessica Latour of New York
Sister: JoAnn Peterson of Eatontown
Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:00 am Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Entombment will follow at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery.
