Obituary of Ruth M. Harbord

Ruth M. Harbord, 67 of Toms River, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013. Ruth was a devoted wife and mother and treasured her three grandchildren. She was a communicant of St. Justin's Catholic Church of Toms River. She loved to read, going to the movies and shopping. Born in Newark, NJ, she grew up in Keansburg and Middletown where she graduated from Middletown Township High School in 1963. She then moved to Toms River where she met her husband Al, and they were married 46 years ago on Saturday, February 4, 1967 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Toms River. Ruth is survived by her beloved husband Alfred; son Michael Harbord of Toms River; daughter Deborah Harbord of Toms River; three grandchildren, Joey Latkovich of Bradenton, FL, Mikayla Love Harbord of Toms River, Michael Christopher Harbord, Jr., of Toms River. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated 9:30 am Thursday at St. Justin's Catholic Church, 975 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
