Obituary of Samuel E. Robinson

Samuel E. Robinson, 88, formerly of Neptune, New Jersey, was called into the presence of his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Sam spent his childhood in New Jersey before moving to New York City. In 1980 he and his late wife Ruth moved to Wall, and later lived in Neptune before moving to California in October 2009. Sam was actively involved in Christian missionary work for most of his life, and was the president of Christian Missions in Many Lands, Inc. in Wall Township for over 25 years. While in New Jersey, Sam faithfully attended Fifth Avenue Chapel in Belmar. Sam is survived by his three daughters �" Jane Gilpin, Karen Feher, and Ruthann Ballasy �" and their husbands and four granddaughters �" Katie, Jessica, Rebecca, and Rachel. His beloved wife of 62 years, Ruth, went to be with the Lord in 2010. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 8, at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, from 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 9, at 1 PM at Fifth Avenue Chapel in Belmar with tea following the service at Christian Missions in Many Lands in Wall Township.
