William “Billy” Christopher Carney, 38, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2021. He was born May 6, 1983, in Ridgewood, NJ. Billy grew up in Paramus and graduated from Paramus High School in 2001. Billy always had a smile on his face and had a gift for making people feel special and loved. He loved his family (which includes 16 first cousins that were more like brothers and sisters), his longtime friends, his dog, Champ, and the New York Yankees. He worked with his father at their family business, Carney Plumbing.

He is survived by his parents, Michael Carney and Kathleen Esposito Carney; his twin sister, Kate Carney, and his former wife, Megan Goggin. Everyone has a great story with Billy. He will be dearly missed, and the memories will be cherished forever.
