Obituary of John S. Fielder

John Stokey Fielder, Jr., age 69 of Wall Township, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, March 15, 2013. John was born in Neptune in 1944 and was one of the first babies born in the area on January 1.
He lived in Bradley Beach, Sea Girt and Spring Lake before moving to Wall Township in 1968.
John was a graduate of Manasquan High School, Class of 1961 and attended Monmouth College. He was a certified Home Inspector and owner-operator of Pinecone Home Inspection in Wall. John enjoyed researching family history and was a member of the Glendola Fire Company. He was a devoted husband, brother, pop pop and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Joyce Hartmann Fielder; two daughters, Robin White and her husband Darryl, Lori Maliff and her husband Thomas; son Douglas; three grandchildren, Alexis, Ronan and Reilly; brother Jim and his wife Kathi. Also surviving are his brother in law Jay Hartmann, sister in law Janet Walsh, cousin Joyce Stewart and loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Monday, March 18 at the Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ 08736. A funeral service will be offered Tuesday, 11:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in John's memory would be appreciated.
