Erwin R. "Bud" Meier, 83 of Toms River, NJ formally of Union, NJ passed away in Toms River on Saturday March 16, 2013.
Mr. Meier is survived by his wife of 62 years, Vincenza (Archiniaco) "Vinnie". His daughter, Karen Foy and his sons Robert and his wife Terry and Richard and his wife Kirsten. Grandchildren Sarah, Megan, Chris, Kevin, Corbin, Avery and Will.
Bud graduated from Thomas A Edison Vocational HS in Elizabeth. Served in the National Guard as a Master Sergeant.
He worked for Burroughs Corp �" Standard Register Corp in various service management positions, retiring after 41 years.
A private service will be held at the Shrine of St. Joseph in Sterling, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA (www. Aspca.org/donate) would be appreciated.
