Obituary of Lisa M. Besnecker

Lisa M. Besnecker, 57, of Toms River, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022. Lisa was born in Rahway, NJ, and lived most of her life here in Toms River. A graduate of Toms River High School North with the Class of 1982, Lisa had a huge heart that she shared with her family and with everyone she met. She was known as Mama Bez to her children’s friends and always welcomed anyone into her home. Lisa was an amazing cook, an animal advocate, and a passionate Bruce Springsteen fan. She loved taking care of her family, especially spending time with her grandson, Crystopher. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Serratelli- Fernandez in 2021, and her brother John Serratelli of Beachwood in 2015. Lisa is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Kurt; her son William and his fiancé Megan of Seaside Park; her daughter, Krystine and her boyfriend Mark Gallagher; her cherished grandson, Crystopher Gallagher; her father, Peter Serratelli and his wife Nancy of Florida; and her constant companions, her cats Spanky, Cookie, and Fluffy.
