Robert E. Lansing, Jr., 73 of Toms River, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Robert was a customer service representative with JCP&L in Red Bank for 35 years, retiring in 2014. He was born and raised in Point Pleasant and lived in Brick before moving to Toms River in 1972. Robert was a car enthusiast, belonging to some of the local car clubs and enjoyed attending car shows. He also had a passion for old radios. His collection included transistor and old tube sets which he would restore to working sets.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Anne Sherwen Lansing; his son David and his wife Katilynn of Toms River; and his cherished grandchildren, Emily, Maggie and Samuel. He is also survived by two brothers Jeffrey and Clifford Lansing of Lakewood.

Visitation will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 8:30pm, with a service beginning at 8:30. Cremation will be private.
