Obituary of Dominick J. Mullaney

Dominick J. Mullaney, of Toms River passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer. He lived in Middletown for most of his life until moving to Toms River to be near his family. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and fought in the Koran War as a fighter pilot. During his time in the military, he earned a Soldier's Medal, Purple Heart, Air Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Combat Readiness Medal. Army of Occupation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal and the Korean War Service Medal. Dominick was currently a member of the Air Force Association and the 48th Squadron Association, Ancient Order of Hibernians - Division 32, Knights of Columbus Council 4969 of Toms River and the Middletown VFW Post 2179. Other than his family, his great loves were the NY Giants and spending time in Mexico. He was predeceased by his wife Kathleen in 1998.
Surviving are his daughter Kathleen and her husband Michael, as well as two granddaughters, Madison and Kaelin.
Visitation will be held Monday from 5 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:00 am Tuesday, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River. In lieu of flowers, donations to Meridian Hospice South, 80 Nautilus Drive, Manahawkin, NJ 08050 in his memory would be appreciated.
