Obituary of Joyce M. Pollice

Joyce M. Pollice, 77 of Berkeley Township, passed away, Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Joyce was a member of the Holiday City Carefree Community. She was always willing to help people and enjoyed working with brides at Renee's Bridal Shop in Lakewood, and enjoyed assisting people as the manager of Frederick's of Hollywood in the Ocean County Mall. Born and raised in Rosebank on Staten Island, she lived in Jackson for 31 years before moving to Holiday City 13 years ago. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 43 years, Salvatore; daughter, Joyce Burns of Staten Island; son Steven of Hever, Utah; two brothers, Thomas Tedesco of Staten Island, Joseph Tedesco of Toms River; two sisters, Darleen Tedesco of Staten Island, Carol Vukelic of Mt. Pocono, PA. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday at St. John's Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut St., Lakehurst. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Denville Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365 in her memory would be appreciated.
