Helen Amelia Jodice, 95, of Beachwood passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2022 surrounded by her family. Helen was born and raised in in Parkertown, NJ before settling in Beachwood, NJ in 1967. She worked for the Civil Service for 35 years and retired as the Chief Inspector of housing on the military base. Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed playing the piano. She was big on work, home, and family. Some of the most cherished memories were made gathering at Nana’s house for the holidays.

Helen is survived by her sons, Robert L. Merrill of Beachwood, and Gregory Jodice of Barnegat; daughter, Linda Smith of Virginia; grandchildren, Gregory M. Jodice, Tammy Lee Johnson, Robert Jeffrey Hunt, Heather M. Foster, and Danny L. Jodice; great-grandchildren, Brittany Powderley, Darla Lee Johnson, Patrick C. Johnson, Cole Foster, Jared Foster, and Bella Grace Jodice; great great grandson, Jimmy Powderley, 5; niece, Christine Cirillo; 2 great nieces, 3 great great nephews; 1 great niece, and loving caregiver and friend, Eileen Marchitto.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park.
