Obituary of Sean David Preztos

Please share a memory of Sean to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Sean David Preztos passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 24, 2022. Sean was 48 years young. Sean was born on September 9, 1974, in Toms River, NJ, and grew up in Brick, NJ. He spent his early years as a football all-star. Professionally Sean began his career as a self-employed floor installer and gradually expanded his business into hotel renovations. He had contracts throughout the United States, lending his talents to some major hotel chains in Florida, Texas, and Pennsylvania just to name a few. A dedicated father, Sean loved nothing more than to be with his children. He is survived by his sons Anthony and Blake. He was at his finest showing his boys how to live life to the fullest. He lived his life in the moment, loving the ocean, trucks, trains, cars, dirt bikes, and pretty much anything with an engine. He had Anthony on motorized four-wheelers practically before Anthony could even walk. Nothing brought Sean greater pleasure or joy than to watch his son Anthony play baseball or teach him how to ride and fix dirt bikes. They spent many memorable days walking the Jetties at Point Pleasant and doing crazy jump stunts at the Skate Park. Thick as thieves, the father-and-son pair never failed to make a good time. They were like partners in crime, of one mindset sharing not only the same blood but big heads and that Preztos nose that you could see a mile away. They loved the same music, the same colors, and often had the same ideas. To Anthony, there could not have been a better man to call DAD from the moment Sean held the preemie mini-me in his hands. In addition to Anthony and Blake, Sean is survived by two daughters Athena and Sophia, a sister Carolynn and a brother Dennis. He was predeceased by the grandmother who raised him, Carol Palmieri, and his mother, Patricia. Throughout Sean’s life, both the good and the bad, he always put his strongest foot forward. Sean’s heart was golden, with a raging flame of unconditional love for those he cared about. He will be missed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 6 - 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Entombment will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 56 Cedar Grove Road, Toms River.
