Obituary of Arline Melchior

Arline Melchior, 90, of Lakewood passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Arline was born and raised in Newark, NJ to the late William and Lillian Cousins. She graduated from Weequahic High School. She resided in Kenilworth, NJ prior to moving to the shore. Arline pursued a career as an Executive Secretary for PNC Bank where she worked for many years before retiring. Most importantly, her passion was her artwork. She was an artist at heart who won many awards for her beautiful oil paintings. She was a member of many Art Associations in northern New Jersey. Arline is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Melchior, and daughter, Cheryl. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Brede; sister, Linda Colores; grandchildren, Christine Bieljeski and her husband Michael Kollarik, Sr., Robert Bieljeski, Jr., and Katelyn Brede; great-grandchildren, Michael Kollarik, Jr. and Milana Kollarik, and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will remain private.
