Obituary of David Butler McKee

David B. McKee, 86, of Seaside Park went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Born and raised in Meadville, PA, David graduated from Penn State University as an Electrical Engineer. He was a proud Veteran who served in the United States Army as a Tech Specialist. David was the owner and operator of his company Precision Devices Associates. As a devoted member of Union Church in Seaside Park he served in any way he was needed for many blessed years. He loved the beach and swimming in the ocean. David was the Chairman of the Board for the Market Street Mission in Morristown and was instrumental in founding and establishing the Jersey Shore Rescue Mission in Asbury Park. He loved the Mission and could be seen out happily driving their truck to pick up donations with the team. David loved to cook and could spend hours walking the aisles of Trader Joe’s and hanging out with his daughters and his friends at Roy’s Fixin Bar. David is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy McKee; daughters, Jennifer Min and Christine McKee, and his grandchildren, Madeleine Min and Christopher Min who shared unique bonds with him and have countless happy memories of days at the beach, holidays and everyday life together. A celebration of his life will be held on March 4th at 11:00 am at Union Church in Seaside Park. Following the service please join us for a luncheon at the church in Daves honor. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Market Street Mission, Jersey Shore Rescue Mission, or the Union Church of Seaside Park would be appreciated.
