Obituary of Kate Greenhall

Kate Greenhall, 51 of Toms River, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her husband and two daughters. She fought a strong and courageous battle with breast cancer for over three long years. Kate was a 1979 graduate of St. Joseph High School in Toms River. In 1980 she met her best friend and love of her life, Jack, whom she married in 1985. Kate and Jack have two wonderful daughters, Kimberly and Jennifer. Kate had the most caring and selfless of hearts that she shared with her children and husband while focusing her life on being involved with them and their friends by always providing a supportive, comfortable and fun life. Kate is survived by her husband Jack and daughters Kimberly Michelle Greenhall and Jennifer Aerial Greenhall. Jack, Kim and Jenn were the greatest emotional supporters and inspiration during Kate's extremely difficult battle with cancer. Kate also appreciated all of her friends who were there to help her through these difficult times. You all know who you are and we thank you. Additional thanks are fully deserved by Dr. Schneider and Dr. Agrawal for their exceptional care and compassion during Kate's struggle with cancer. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Monday, July 29 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. On Tuesday, family and friends may meet at the Funeral Home at 9:30 before departing at 10:00 for Brigadier General William Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In remembrance of Kate, please do something wonderful for someone. "Pay if forward" by doing something special for a friend, neighbor, stranger or a loved one.
