Obituary of Paul C. Gerhauser

Paul C. Gerhauser, 80 of Toms River, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. Paul was a grocery manager for Two Guys stores in the Kearny, Garfield and Jersey City area for many years. He also worked as a Chef for Sodexo Food Management Co., and recently worked at Tee Pee Subs in Lavallette. Paul was Past President of the Beachwood – Pine Beach Little League and was a communicant at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Whiting. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Helen Gerhauser, two brothers Thomas Gerhauser and his wife Ruth, David J. Gerhauser, three sisters, Ruth Kieb, Helen Frank and her husband Ray and Joan Cirone and her husband Frank. Paul is survived by his wife Jude’; four sons, Paul T. Gerhauser, Mark V. Gerhauser and his wife Joanne, Glenn J. Gerhauser, Brian M. Gerhauser and his wife Denise; his daughter Jude’ Hadley and her husband Peter; 9 grandchildren, Matthew Gerhauser, Stephen Gerhauser, Alexandra Kyle and her husband Brandon, Peter Hadley III, Thomas Gerhauser, Brandon Illarazza, John Paul Hadley, Erin Gerhauser and Ryan Gerhauser; and three great grandchildren, Maeve Illarazza, Ophelia Illarazza and Ellie Kyle. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am Wednesday, April 12 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 180 Route 539, Manchester, NJ 08759. Please meet the family at the church on Wednesday.
