Robert P. Lada, Sr., 84 of Brick, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023. Robert was born and raised in Newark, NJ. In 1979, he moved his family and settled in Bricktown. He worked for Consolidated Freight of Newark as a driver for over 30 years before retiring. He then worked for Big-n-Small Carting in Brick for several years. Robert enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and collecting antiques. He was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Stephanie Lada, and his daughter Jacqueline Lada Ramos in 2018.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jean Jastrabek Lada; two sons, Robert P. Lada, Jr. and Richard Lada; 5 grandchildren, Kodi, Cheyenne, Madison, Alyssa and Sammi; and 3 great grandchildren, Quinn, Bryce and Aaron.
