Alema Stencel, 68 of Toms River, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 at home, with her family by her side. Alema was born and raised in Ibague’, Tolima, Colombia. She came to the U.S. living in North Arlington, NJ until moving to Toms River in 2021. Alema worked for Polo Ralph Lauren in the Sample Control Dept., for 26 years, retiring in 2018. She and her husband Victor were members of the Wayne Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Alema is survived by her husband Victor Stencel; her daughter Yvonne Jimenez and a large number of beloved extended family.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend the funeral service, held at the Toms River Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 626 Dave Marion Road, Toms River, NJ 08753 on Wednesday, June 7 at 11:00am.
