Obituary of Betty M. Vetesy

Betty M. Vetesy, 77 of Toms River, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. Betty worked as an LPN for JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ and also worked as a private care giver for many years. She proudly served in the US Marine Corp. Betty was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Toms River. She was born in Pocahontas, VA, and raised in Colonia, NJ. She worked and raised her family in Sewaren, NJ before moving to Toms River 1985. Betty is survived by two sons, Darryl, Sr., and Dale Laxson; two brothers Robert and William; sister Shirley; grandchildren, Darryl, III, Derek and Taylor; great granddaughter, Giada. Funeral services will be held 9:30 am, Friday, August 23, at the Ocean County Memorial Park, 1722 Silverton Road, Toms River. Kedz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
