Obituary of Connie Giannetti

Connie Giannetti, 89 of Toms River, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Connie worked as a seamstress for Larry Levine Clothing in Perth Amboy and was an active member of the Ladies Garment Workers Union. She grew up in Newark and lived in Old Bridge Township before moving to the Toms River area 15 years ago. She was actively involved in many of the senior groups and enjoyed traveling, sewing and crafts. Connie was predeceased by her beloved husband John in 1985. Surviving are her children, Linda Ribeiro and husband Jack, Debbie Giannetti, Rocco Giannetti, Lisa Giannetti Meier and husband Carl; five grandchildren, Dana Marie, Steven, Jonathan, CJ, Zac; brother Anthony LaSpina; sister Grace Pietrucha. Visitation will be held Friday, 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated 9:00 Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River.
