Doug and Susan paid us the highest tribute, the gift of hope. In 2006, they travelled to Ohio to play the cello and sing at our wedding, the wedding of not-So-Young cousins hoping for many years of blended family bliss. Six grandchildren and many adventures later, their gift was affirmed. Since then, we visited with Doug and Susan several times, and always enjoyed Doug's joyous demeanor, his celebration of music as a positive influence on young kids, and his love of Susan and her children and grandchildren. You will be missed, my friend, good and faithful servant. Rest in peace. May your memory be a blessing to all who knew you.
