Joan "Chickie" Spulock, 87 years old, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2024, in Toms River, NJ. She was born in Somerville, Massachusetts in 1936 to Marie and John Vacula. She was a resident of Edison for many years before retiring to the Jersey Shore. Chickie loved her family, friends, and all animals. She was an Eastern Star member, loved country music, and Bingo.

She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy "Dot" VanBlarcom and Karen "Cookie" Garner. She was married to her beloved husband (Michael) "Sparky" for over 40 years, who predeceased her in 1999. They were blessed with 4 children: Michelle Pascarella and her husband Paul, Mark Spulock and his wife Joanne, Kim Dublanyk and her husband Chris "Doobie," and Cheryl Farrar and her husband Dan, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was a beautiful soul, always kind, and compassionate and was a joy to know.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 2 – 4 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ.
