Now a memory=A few years back when Mike had the front entrance to Cedar Grove Elementary I had the side entrance, On dismissal one day the kids coming out waiting to be crossed and kept wishing me a Happy Birthday. I couldn't figure out how they knew it was my birthday, I saw Mike the following week at TRPD when we used to sign on our hours and told him this story. A big smile came across his face as he told me the kids had the wrong crossing guard and that it was he who was celebrating his birthday that day. He told me how his family hid balloons in the bushes and they had it announced over the school PA system to wish your crossing guard a Happy Birthday, they just didn't say which one, Mystery solved but the fun fact is my birthday is also April 12th and Mike is 12 years older than me,
