Obituary of Stephen F. Vargo

Stephen F. Vargo, 87 of Toms River, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013. Stephen worked for the Ford Motor Co. of Edison as an inventory clerk , retiring in 1978 after 30 years of service. After retiring, he worked as a handyman in the Perth Amboy area for many years. Stephen's favorite pastime was fishing. He loved to spend time boating with his son and grandsons and teaching them to fish. Born in Perth Amboy he lived there most of his life, moving to Toms River 30 yeas ago . He was predeceased by a son, Gordon in 2004. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Margaret Csopyak Vargo; son Allan and his wife Lori of Toms River; two grandsons, Steven Vargo, Raymond Vargo and his wife Dina; two great grandchildren, Emilia and Riley. Visitation will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Monday, November 18, from 10 to 11 am, with a funeral service offered at 11:00am. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
