Obituary of Dennis P. Slocum

Dennis Slocum, 51 of Toms River, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 14, 2013. He was a life long resident of Toms River. Dennis was a loyal and dedicated employee at Toms River Township Public Works for 29 years. In his spare time, Dennis was an avid hunter and loved anything involving the outdoors. He took great pride in his gardening on "Slocs farm". He is predeceased by his parents, Robert H., Sr. and Rose Marie Slocum, and his brother James A. Slocum. Surviving are his loving wife Donna Slocum: two daughters, Denise and Rachel; step-daughter Nicole Mount; 5 siblings, many nieces and nephew and his golden retriever 'Jake'. Calling hours will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Monday, November 18 from 4 to 7 pm.
