Obituary of William Cox

William G Cox 56 of Toms River, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2013. Bill was born in Kearny, on November 11, 1957 and lived in Lyndhurst . He attended Sacred Heart elementary School, and Queen of Peace HS, graduating in 1975. He worked at Nationwide shipping in Lyndhurst until he moved to the shore area. He worked at Atlantic Belt Co. in Lakewood until 2005 when he retired after suffering a stroke. Bill was predeceased by his wonderful father Robert in 2002. He is survived by his loving mother, Gloria (Bello); his brother Bob and his wife MaryJane of VA.; his sister Patty Heba and her husband Rob of NC; his brother Glenn and his wife Suzanne of VA; his nieces Lauren Urban and Tiffany Arnold; nephews Brandon, Cameron, & Willie Cox and Ryan Heba; and his great nephew Storm Robert Urban. Bill was a great humanitarian with a heart of gold who unselfishly helped all those in need. He will be terribly missed by his family, friends and community, and especially his dog Charlie. A mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Lyndhurst on Friday, November 22 at 10 am. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, November 22, from 7 - 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home 1123 Hooper Ave. Toms River where friends and family are invited to celebrate Bill's life.
