Obituary of Kristen M. Englert

Kristen M. Englert, 25 of Bayville, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013. Kristen loved being around and helping children. She was a much loved teacher at the Goddard School in Toms River where she worked for the past several years. She was a 2006 graduate of Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River and graduated from Georgian Court University with a degree in education. Kristen was a communicant of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She embraced life with enthusiasm and a smile and among her many interest she was a die-hard Giants fan. Born in Long Branch, Kristen grew up in Toms River, just recently moving to Bayville. She is survived by her husband Kyle and son Jaxon; her parents, Paul and Kathleen Shafer; mother in law, Karen Walker; father in law, Brad Englert and his wife Kristine; paternal grandmother, Cecelia Shafer; two sisters, Alison Hucker, Erin Hackl; sister in law Dana Englert; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday, at St. Joseph's Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Sea Girt.
