Diane J. Aromando (née Petolino), 82, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on the morning of December 7, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 27, 1942, at Columbus Hospital in Newark, New Jersey, Diane was the beloved daughter of the late Vincent J. Petolino and was lovingly raised by her stepmother, Sylvia Cannilla. Diane shared an extraordinary love story with her husband, Joseph C. Aromando, whom she married on April 4, 1964, at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield, NJ. The two grew up as neighbors, living across the street from one another, and began dating in high school. Their relationship blossomed into a marriage filled with unwavering devotion, laughter, and countless cherished memories. In 1969, Diane and Joseph moved to Toms River, where they built their family and created a home filled with love. For over five decades, they have lived and loved in the same home, surrounded by their growing family and the community they cherished. Together, Diane and Joseph also owned and operated Medical Mall Pharmacy for 42 years, where they deeply valued their customers and their role in serving the community. A woman of deep faith, Diane was a devout Catholic whose spiritual life was a cornerstone of her being. She lived her faith through acts of kindness, love, and service to others, inspiring those around her to embrace compassion and grace. Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph, and their four children: Dara (Daryl) Clark and her husband John, Kelly Boyle and her husband Brian, Joseph Aromando, III and his wife Kim, and Drew Aromando and his wife Michelle. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her many grandchildren and shared a close bond with her sisters, extended family, and friends. Diane’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family, friends, faith, and community will forever be remembered. Visitation Will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
