Obituary of Patricia Dwyer Dey

Patricia Dwyer Dey, 82 of Berkeley Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2024. She was born in Jersey City, NJ and moved with her family to Brick, NJ in 1957. Patricia was a 1960 graduate of Brick Township High School and attended Jersey City State College. She enjoyed bowling, bocce, mah-jong and especially enjoyed watching her beloved N.Y. Yankees on tv. Upon retirement, Patrica and her husband enjoyed quiet lives together at their homes in Jensen Beach, FL. and Berkeley Twp., NJ. She was in fellowship at Bethany Bible Chapel in Silverton, NJ and Grace & Truth Bible Fellowship in Jupiter, FL. Patricia was predeceased by her parents Harold and Margaret Dwyer. She is survived by Allen Dey, her loving husband of 62 years. Patricia is also survived by her daughters, Judith Miller of Point Pleasant, Janine Demeter-Oster (Scott) of Stuart, FL, and Janet Opel (Edward) of Denver, NC; and 7 grandchildren, Aubrey Miller, Kurt Miller, Jr., Ed Opel, Jr., Drew Demeter, Ally Demeter, Elizabeth Opel and Evan Demeter; three sisters, Joan Del Rossi, Dorothy Dwyer, Robin Namias (Albert); and three brothers, Thomas Dwyer (Louise), Kevin Dwyer (Mari) and William Dwyer. A memorial gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Saturday, December 14 from 1:00 to 3:00pm followed by a brief service at 3:00.
