Obituary of Lillie Elizabeth Huff
Please share a memory of Lillie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lillie Elizabeth Huff passed on Tuesday December 10 as she lived, surrounded by love. Kristi and Dan’s warrior princess fought for 15 years, beating all odds, and persevering with strength that no one could have imagined. There is no doubt that her momma, who fought tirelessly for Lillie every day of her beautiful life, is proud of their baby girl and grateful that her sweet baby can now rest.
Lillie brought her family together like no typical child could. With her illnesses came special bonds with her mother, father, brothers, mom mom, pop pop, uncles, aunts, nurses, friends and community. To see Lillie’s infectious smile, you simply felt happier. We will remember Mom Mom and Pop Pop singing to Lillie endlessly. Benjamin and Ethan loving on their baby sister with incredible dedication and affection. They learned early the benefits of love of a special needs child far outweigh any other love. They will forever keep her in their hearts.
Lillie was happiest floating in water…any water…the ocean, the pool. The feeling of freedom with Mom holding Lil were moments that they shared together and the best of memories. Lillie's favorite thing was just lounging on the beach with the sun on her face, the wind in her hair and the smell of the salt air. Her simple love for music and dancing brought this sweet baby girl endless hours of pure joy. Family, friends and community will be inspired by our sweet baby girl forever. Her strength and resilience is a testament to Lillie’s spirit that will never pass. It lives on in all who met her.
The thoughts, prayers and outreach of family and friends over the years brought us together for one cause … giving Lillie the best life possible. Please join us in honoring our Lillie at Kedz Funeral Home in Toms River from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 15, 2024 to celebrate the life of our warrior princess.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to The Casey Care Foundation or Make A Wish. Both foundations have helped Lillie make lasting memories.
