Leonard J. Saia, Sr., 90, of Toms River, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025. Leonard was a 30 year member of the Paterson Fire Department. He worked his way up the ranks and retired in 1995 as Battalion Chief. He was born and raised in Paterson and moved to Toms River in 1994.

Leonard is survived by his beloved wife Karin Saia; three children, Alexander Saia and his wife Diane, Christine Saia and her husband Russell and Leonard Saia, Jr.; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Joseph Saia and his wife Kathy and Samuel Saia and his wife Maryjane.

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River, on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 2 – 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions
