Obituary of Francis Xavier Duddy

Francis Xavier Duddy, 19 of Toms River, passed away on Saturday, February 08, 2014. Francis was a 2013 graduate of Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River where he was a member of the football, lacrosse and wrestling teams. He was currently attending Brookdale Community College. He enjoyed telling jokes, spontaneous dancing with or without others anytime, any place, and smiling so that others will smile with him. He was a life long resident of Toms River. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William T. Sheehan in 2002, his paternal grandparents Francis X. and Helen M. Duddy, uncle, Michael T. Sheehan in 2003, and an aunt, Eileen Calore in 2012. Francis is Survived by his parents, Danny and Maura (Sheehan) Duddy; four brothers, Danny, Michael, Keenan, and William; three sisters, Aileen, Annah, and Grace; maternal grandmother, Jacqueline Sheehan. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins from the Sheehan, Crowe, Calore, Rush, Werner, Duddy, Chussler, Campbell, and Morey families. Francis is also survived by Uncle and priest Father Jerry Sheehan, of the Society of Our lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT). Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. A funeral liturgy will be offered 3:00 pm Thursday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be private.
