Doreen C. Juhr, (Maguire) 64 of Toms River passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Doreen worked for Prudential Insurance Co. as an office manager in the Ocean and Monmouth County area. Born in Mount Vernon, NY, she lived in Newark, moving to Toms River in 1969. She was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's High School in Morristown. Doreen was a communicant of St. Justin's Catholic Church in Toms River where she was active in the Rosary Altar Society and the Holy Innocents Society. She was also a member of the Ocean County Ladies Shriners Club. Doreen was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert B. Juhr, Sr., in 2002. Surviving are her children, Robert, Jr. and his wife Cindy, Luke and his wife Jeanne, Luanna Pierce and her husband; four brothers, Vincent Maguire, Kevin Maguire and his wife Helene, Patrick Maguire and his wife Elizabeth, Oswald Maguire; two sisters, Cathielynn Climento, Claire Wombough and her husband Robert; five grandchildren, Anna, Stephanie, Casey, Bethann, Corey; Great Grandson, Logan; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30 am Monday at St. Justin's Church, 975 Fischer Blvd. Toms River. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in Doreen's memory to St. Justin the Martyr Center of Learning or the St. Vincent de Paul Society both of St. Justin's Church.
