Obituary of Donald Spafford

Donald W. Spafford, 78 of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Donald worked for the US Department of Agriculture in New York as an accountant. He proudly service in the US Navy and was stationed in Hawaii. He was born and raised in Keyport where he graduated from Keyport High School. He lived in Farmingdale, NJ before moving to Whiting in 2001. He was predeceased by his wife Jane in 2008, and his brother Wayne Spafford. Surviving are two daughters, Veronica (Ronnie) Liga, Lorena (Lori) Craig; two step daughters, Jeanne Anisko, Betty McHugh; three brothers, Richard (Dickie) Spafford, William (Bill) Spafford, Jerome (Jerry) Kalieta; 4 grandchildren, Dessa, Crystal, Timothy, Tanner; 5 great grandchildren, Lauren, Billy, Eric, Olivia and Azalyn. A memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday, October 18 at the Whiting United Methodist Church, 55 Lacey Road, Whiting, NJ.
