Obituary of Howard J. Ambrose

Howard J. Ambrose, 69 of Lakewood, passed away at home on Monday, September 22, 2014. Howard worked as a printer for Hoffmann-LaRoche in Nutley for 42 years before retiring in 2007. He attended the Rutherford Bible Chapel and recently the Bethany Bible Chapel in Toms River. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan. Howard was born in Jersey City and grew up in East Orange where he graduated from East Orange High School in 1964. He then lived in Nutley before moving to Lakewood 5 years ago. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Hill Ambrose; two daughters, Jennifer Ambrose, Tracey Ambrose Fogg and her husband Derek; two grandsons, Devin and Colin Fogg; mother, Virginia Ambrose; sister, Virginia Pakes. Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. Toms River. A service will be offered 10:00 am Friday at the Funeral Home.
