George E. Fredrichs, Sr., 81 , passed away on October 27th, 2014 at Van Dyke Hospice in Toms River, New Jersey. He was born on April 9, 1933 in West Virginia. George served in the US Marines and was a veteran of the Korean War. George married Dolores (Martucci) in 1956. They were happily married for 58 years. George was a member of Toms River United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing and spending time with family and friends.
George is survived by his spouse Dolores; his daughter Janet and her husband Jim Doremus; his son George Fredrichs Jr. and his wife Cheryl; his sister Nancy Davenport; his brother Paul Fredrichs; 3 grandchildren, Dolores Oswald and husband Ken, Nikkirae Jasaitis and Cody Fredrichs; 3 great grandchildren, Jeremy and Claire Oswald and Channing Siebold; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
George will be cremated as where his wishes. A Memorial service will be held at Toms River United Methodist Church, 129 Chestnut St., Toms River, NJ 08753 at 11:00 am on Friday, November 28, 2014.
