Obituary of Evelyn M. Kloby

Evelyn M. Kloby, 94 of Brick Township , passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2011 at the Worthington Assisted Living in Brick. Evelyn was a Registered Nurse and a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing . She worked with her husband in his medical practice for 40 years before retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Modern Muses Women’s Club and she earned the title of Life Master in Bridge. She was a communicant of St. Joseph ’s Catholic Church of Toms River. Born and raised in Linden , NJ she lived in Yuma Arizona , moving to the Ocean County area in 1960. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dr. John J. Kloby in 1985. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Byrnes and her husband William of Toms River and Upper Captiva, FL.; son Jay Kloby of Seattle , WA ; grandson Greg Sharkey and his wife Rachel, Keyport , NJ ; granddaughter Erin Sharkey of San Mateo , CA ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 to 10 am at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River with a funeral service being offered at 10:00am . Burial will follow at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery, Toms River .
