Obituary of Roy Armstrong

Roy Armstrong, 67 of Davenport , FL , formerly of Toms River , passed away on Friday, August 06, 2010 . Roy worked for the New York City Transit Authority as a bus operator for 21 years, retiring in 1991. He was born in Bronx , NY , and lived in Toms River before moving to Florida several years ago. He was predeceased by his wife Diane Cahill Armstrong in 1994. Surviving are his sons, Christopher and Patrick Armstrong; his daughters Rosemary Armstrong, Marion Engle and Kelly Butterbodt; two granddaughters, Christina and Kellia. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home, followed by interment at St. Joseph ’s Cemetery.
