Obituary of Anthony Capaccio

Anthony Capaccio, Jr. 67 of Lakewood , passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 at his home. He was an equipment operator for the Essex County Parks Department for many years. He was a member of the Men’s Club, the bowling and bocce leagues at the Fairways at Lake Ridge. Born in Newark , he lived in Belleville before moving to Lakewood in 1999. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Theresa in 2000, his son Anthony III in 2008, and sisters Elaine Raymond and Phyllis Comito Surviving are his devoted daughter, Dana Capaccio; four grandchildren, Tara Baldassare, Anthony Capaccio IV, Michael Capaccio and Nikki Ann Franciose; sister, Lena Fano; three brothers, Frank, John and James Capaccio; extended family member John Keene and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave. , Toms River . Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:15 am , Monday at the Church of St. Luke , 1674 Old Freehold Road , Toms River , Interment will follow at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery , Lakewood . In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
