Robert G. Ramsey, 80, of Toms River, passed away April 27 at his home leaving a son, Gary, daughter-in-law, Diane and beloved grandson, Sean, all of Port Monmouth.
Mr. Ramsey served his country as a Navy Veteran of World War II and as a Federal Government/Contract employee, retiring in 1988. Robert was a Freemason, a member of AMVETS, Navy Lakehurst Rod & Gun Club and the NRA. Robert was an avid gardener and nature lover who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandson. He was born in Newark and lived in Highlands before moving to Toms River 31 years ago. General William Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery , Province Line Road , Arneytown , NJ .
