Obituary of Michael T. Chiappetta

Michael T. Chiappetta, 58, of Toms River, passed away at home on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Born and raised in Greenwich, CT. He graduated from Greenwich High School, and Saint Leo University. Michael worked as a water treatment supervisor with NJ American Water, Brick MUA and East Windsor MUA for over 30 years before retiring in 2012. He served on the Alumni Board of Directors for St. Leo University in Florida for many years. Michael was a communicant at St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Toms River. He is survived by his wife Kathleen Chiappetta; two daughters, Amelia Rose and Alexandra Chiappetta; his parents, Lawrence and Anne Chiappetta; his sister, Anne Chiappetta, nieces, Katherine Franco, Siena Sinopoli, and nephew Matthew Sinopoli. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Hooper Ave., Toms River.
