Obituary of Patricia A. Court

Patricia A. Court , 65, of Medford , formerly of Toms River , passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Patricia worked for many years in the building industry, retiring from Accent Homes of Manahawkin , NJ in 2005. She was an avid gardener and nature lover. She enjoyed kayaking, hiking and was a member of The Outdoor Club of South Jersey. She volunteered with an environmental group, Restoring National Parks. Born and raised in Toms River , she lived in Lower Bank on the Mullica River before moving to Medford , NJ . She was predeceased by her father Norman N. Gregory in 1976 and Jonathan Ackerman in 2004. Patricia is survived by: Her mother: Lillian “Faye” Gregory of Glendale, AZ Three daughters: Vija C. Barlet and her husband Richard of Barnegat, NJ Holly L. Ackerman and her husband Bruce of Manahawkin, NJ Carol R. Russell and her husband Timothy of Medford, NJ A son: Donald G. Applegate of Liberty , SC Grandchildren: Ian Barlet, Michael King, Ashleigh Holden, Erin Russell, Ryan Russell, Kendall Ackerman, Bruce Ackerman and Donnie Applegate. Three sisters: Cathy Jo Casement of Tallahassee , FL Emily R. Gregory of New Holland , PA Edith M. Tice and her husband Charles of Glendale, AZ Two brothers: Raymond D. Gregory and his wife Betty of Youngstown, OH Norman N. Gregory and his wife Cindy of Honeybrook. PA Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Avenue , Toms River . Burial will take place at the North Bend Cemetery , North Bend , PA.
