Obituary of Evelyn Amasiu

Evelyn Amasiu, 85 of Toms River, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015. Evelyn had worked in housekeeping at the Country Manor Nursing Home in Toms River for several years. Born in Vienna, Austria, she came to the United States in the early 1950's, settling in Browns Mills. She moved to the Toms River, Bayville area in 1969. Evelyn enjoyed listening to, and was a big fan of Jose Carreras. She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Koppensteiner; granddaughter, Dottie England; and great grandson, Anthony England, all of Toms River. Visitation will be held at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River on Thursday, October 29 from 5:00 pm until the service time at 6:30pm. Cremation will be private.
