Doreen Nonnemacher, 63 of Toms River, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 26.
Doreen worked for the Ocean County Board of Social Services as a Specialist for 27 years before retiring in 2007. Born in Newark, she lived there until moving to Toms River in 1976.
She is survived by:

Laureen Estrella of Toms River
Shereen Pesce and her husband Vincent of Toms River
3 Grandchildren: Briana, Ariana and Justin Ponce
Two Brothers: Ronald Nonnemacher of Little Egg Harbor
Otto Nonnemacher of Seaside Heights
Her loving Companion: Edward Schrieber of Toms River
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday at the funeral home followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
