Obituary of Margaret Pedersen

Margaret Pedersen, 96 of Lakewood, passed away at home on Sunday, January 10, 2016. Margaret worked for the Insurance Services Office in NY as an Executive Secretary for many years until her retirement. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived there until moving to Lakewood NJ. Growing up she was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church of the Brethren in Brooklyn. Margaret traveled extensively with her sister in the US and Europe. She especially liked visiting her parents homeland of Norway. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Ingrid Pedersen, her brother Carl, Jr, and sister Torhild Pedersen. Margaret is survived by her cousins, Robert Pedersen of CA, Paulette Appleton of NJ and Roberta Wilber of NY. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Margaret will be buried at Ocean View Cemetery in Staten Island, NY.
