Obituary of Richard Owen

Richard A. Owen, 81 of Lakewood, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 at his home. Richard retired from AT&T where he made many friends. He was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Lakewood in 2000. Richard joined the US Marine Corp in 1954 and served during the Korean War. He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion and the Foresters Club of Lakewood. He was also a big supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service with Military Honors, which will be held 11:30am on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
