Very sorry to learn of George's passing!! I was a secretary in the PP Boro school system for 25 years and knew him while he wore 'many hats'. He always did his best in all his positions! He always had a smile and kind words for everyone he dealt with! He never failed to ask me how my step-son was doing; while he worked at Oyster Creek, George would always ask ~ "How's Kim doing, is he glowing yet??" My condolences to his wife and family in there loss!!

I was sorry to hear of the passing of George, I had the pleasure of working with him when I first started working in Point Pleasant School District He was such a nice man and gentleman. Years after he left the district he had written in to editor of the Asbury Park Press and I ran into him and kidded him about it. He said of all the letters he had written they had to publish that one, it was a complaint of them removing a comic strip from the paper...Thoughts and prayers are with your family, Fondly, Jean Mergogey
