Obituary of Mildred Antonelli

Mildred Antonelli, 94 of Toms River, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016. Mildred worked for several years as a dressmaker in Yonkers, New York for the Peggy Ann Dress Shop. After her marriage to her husband Pasquale Antonelli, Sr. she devoted her time to raising her family. She was a member of the Forked River Elks Ladies Auxiliary. Born and raised in New York, she lived in Belleville for many years before moving to Toms River, residing at Rose Garden Nursing Home for the past 10 years, where she had a huge extended family. She was very active til the last day and was loved by many. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale Antonelli, Sr. and her son Pasquale Antonelli, Jr. Mildred is survived by two he devoted daughter Francine Evangelista, who devoted her life to caring for her mom, and daughter Bess Ann DiBlasio of Chatham, NJ; one granddaughter, Andrea Evangelista Socha; five great grandchildren, Briana Victoria Socha, Martin Allen Socha, Jr., Ryan James Socha, Olivia Grace Denton, Michael Spencer Denton. Visitation will be held Thursday from 7 to 9 pm at Kedz Funeral Home, 1123 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am, Friday at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 1674 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, NJ 08753.
